Santa Paula Chicano/Chicana Moratorium Commemoration

      The Chicano Moratorium, formally known as the National Chicano Moratorium Committee Against The Vietnam War, was a movement of Chicano anti-war activists that built a broad-based coalition of Mexican-American groups to organize opposition to the Vietnam War.

       Come join Veterans for Peace and others in Santa Paula, CA, August 30, 2025, 11am to 5pm at beautiful Veterans Park. We have been invited to set up a booth and participate both in commemorating the past actions against the Viet Nam War while simultaneously addressing the dire state of American domestic and foreign affairs of today, no less dire than back in the 1970s.
