This is the Golden Rule, the first “Peace Boat” back in 1958 when it sailed towards the Marshall Islands to disrupt U.S. nuclear testing. Veterans For Peace has spent the last 5 years rebuilding the boat after it sank in a storm. Here’s a recent article and you can see the struggle goes on. The Golden Rule will sail again under Veterans For Peace auspices to promote peace, an end to war and to halt the devastation of the earth.
