Please Ask Your Representative to Co-sponsor and Support H.R. 341

On January 14, 2015, Representative Ken Calvert introduced H.R. 341, a bill to require states to recognize the military experience of veterans when issuing licenses and credentials to veterans.  Specifically, this bill would require states to establish a program that issues a license or credential to a veteran without requiring training or apprenticeship if that veteran receives a satisfactory score on an examination administered by that state and has at least 10 years of experience in a military occupational specialty that is similar to the civilian occupation for which such licensure or credentialing is required.

Please use the prepared e-mail, or draft your own message, to request your Senators support this important measure and ask that it be brought to the floor for a vote and passed into law as soon as possible.
