Here’s VFP’s Executive Director Michael McPhearson speaking in Los Angeles to members of the VFP Los Angeles Chapter, folks from MFSO, from the MLK Coalition of Los Angeles, and to a woman of color who lost two children, a boy and a girl to police violence. She has formed a group called Mothers Against Youth Genocide. As you will see, Michael spoke naturally and sincerely from his heart. When he finished, the crowd of 60-70 gave him a very enthusiastic heart-felt
standing ovation.

Will You Come To Creech Air Force Base?
Veterans For Peace is co-sponsoring a national mobilization from March 3rd-6th, 2015 to Shut Down Creech Air Force Base in Indian Springs, Nevada. Since 2009 dozens of activists have been arrested for allegedly trespassing at Creech, in
attempts to stop the indiscriminate killing and burning of innocent people by drones. This year will be the largest turnout yet, and we want you to sign on!

VFP Golden Rule Peace Boat Project
Help to restore the first Peace Ship to oppose nuclear weapons.
Help the Golden Rule sail for peace once more!
Veterans For Peace needs your help to restore the Golden Rule, the world’s first anti-nuclear peace boat. In 1958, her brave crew of Quakers and pacifists risked their lives and freedom to nonviolently confront nuclear testing on the high seas. With your help, we’ll be able to honor their legacy and continue their mission.
